Future
At present we are working on plans to develop the centre into an educational farm where children can not only receive a standard education but also develop a number of specialist skills. Buildings will be constructed for workshops where the children can be training in various skills such as sewing, baking, and cheese making. Work on the farm – growing and harvesting vegetables, attending to livestock and processing their products – will also help them work towards a profession.
All the products cultivated on the farm – flowers, vegetables, fruits, jams, cheese, etc – will be sold and the profit will go back into Centre Fiers et Forts for further development.
With the help of private sponsors we will be able to fulfill this dream in the coming years.
